Lilian Odira | 800m world champion
Lilian Odira ripped up the script in Tokyo when she won the 800m world title ahead of British pair Georgia Hunter Bell and Keely Hodgkinson - but her story is better than just the success of her victory.
The Kenyan has had to be patient on her path to glory and took time out of the sport to start a family - her two boys are her biggest fans.
In what we believe to be her first full English language victory since the World Athletics Championships, Lilian told us about how she's risen to the top of her discipline.
