🏃♂️The mile returns to the Commonwealth Games
The mile is steeped in Commonwealth Games history, and the decision to run it instead of the 1500m has gone down well with athletes heading to Glasgow, creating a stacked field in the men’s and women’s events.
Josh Kerr will go into this on the back of setting a new world record in London, but fellow Scot Jake Wightman and Australia’s Cam Myers are among the athletes who’ll be challenging Kerr.
