Julia Paternain's marathon bronze medal at the 2025 World Athletics Championships was one of the best stories that came out of Tokyo, having been shocked to find out she finished third in her just her second race over the distance to win Uruguay's first athletics medal at the World Championships.

Ahead of her debut London Marathon, the former English schools champion and GB European U23 Championship representative talks to Podium about her upbringing in the UK, the attention she's received since that day, her reflections on the race and how competing in London has been on her "bucket list".
