A month on from winning gold at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham, Ireland's Mark English joins the podcast to talk through his 2026 season - the best of his career so far.
English discusses his coaching relationship with Justin Rinaldi, and how committing to a full-time athletics career (having qualified as a doctor) have helped him kick on, and the satisfaction of becoming a European 800m champion, following years of setbacks.
Please note - Mark had to change devices through this interview, and there is a noticable change of audio quality, which we have done our best to rectify.
